First I will start by saying I apologize if the correct solution is out there. I have spent the last day going through these forums and about anything I can google with no success. We run a blackberry server, but we (networking team) decided we did not want to carry around two phones. We are running Exchange 2003 one a Server 03 DC. Our firewall is ISA2006. On the Pre, I am using the following: Type: EAS Email Address: user@domain.com Incoming Mail Server: https://mail.DOMAIN.com/exchange Domain:local domain name Username: username Password: password Using this info, I recieve a message saying "Unable to validate the incoming mail server settings. Check the settings and try again." I tried leaving the domain field blank and adding that to the front of the username as DOMAIN\username and recieve the same message. If I change the domain/username format to "domain.username" I recieve a message saying "Cound not sign in to account. The mail server responded: bad login/password." If I change the incoming server address to: "https://mail.DOMAIN.com" (take off the /exchange) it will add the account, but only an Outbox is there as an available folder. I went on our ISA server and monitored the IP address the Pre is using. It shows that it is allowing the connection (per the rule I have set for OMA and OWA), then a couple more allows come through and then the connection is closed. Any thoughts? I am scratching my head on this one. Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)
