I had a problem where I tried to sync my treo 755p with my mac, and then a bunch of old stuff got synced up from my ical into my treo. I was hating life! I had all these hundreds of duplicate and unnecessary old entries moved into my unfiled category in my calendar!
If you know palm, you can delete all entries in any category in your calendar EXCEPT for unfiled. I tried searching and searching, and finally found the answer in the following freeware, so I had to share it w/ the world!
http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/datebookcat.shtml
it says for palm III but worked fine for my treo 755p.
Basically, just do the following:
1. select the 'unfiled' category on your upper right 2. select DELETE or move if that's what you want. 3. if you selected DELETE, just press OK on the warning 4. tap on the entry that you want to delete. Keep tapping each one until you've removed all the ones you don't want.
As you can see, you can move a bunch of items from one category to another as well, instead of deleting them.
don't forget, when you hotsync, just to be sure, just ensure the calendar is set to have 'handheld overrides desktop'
Hope this helps someone out. comment if it does!
