Hello everyone My boss has a Palm Pré, she is having a hard time with her contact on her phone. They are not showing up like on her palm desktop. On her palm desktop it shows them as Last name, first name ex. Redford, Robert and on her pre it shows as Robert, Redford even if it is changed in the preference to last name first. I tried First name and it just puts the names in a different order but also by first name! Can anyone tell me what i can do Thanks Julie Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Bell) |

Check and see how the contacts are on the device. It sounds like that when they were moved over that either the first and last names where reversed or if some of the data is missing. Like if you only have a first name for a contact, it could be in the last name field. If that is the case you would need to manually correct the issue on the Pre or if she has the data in GMail, correct it there. To check for this open up a contact and then tap on edit. Then tap in the top left corner and select name details. Once in there you can see how the format of the name is. If it is reversed you can correct it in here.
