Anyone else seeing issues with EAS syncronization with an exchange server using a godaddy 2048bit SSL certificate?

Since we updated our cert in the office, my pre has been cranking with a solid EV connection, which then causes some sort of network timeout that kicks me off the celular network ("offline mode") for about 30 seconds, then the cycle starts all over again.  I can't go 4 hours on a full charge or view new email.  If I remove the EAS account, everything is back to normal.

I've tried setting the mail polling value from "as they arrive" to "5 minutes", recreating the EAS account, and finally wiping and restoring the entire device using the WebOS Doctor to no avail.
