Welcome to the Palm Support Community ("Community"). Palm makes the Community available to you subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms"), which may be amended or changed by Palm at any time. If you visit or use the Community, you accept these Terms.  Users who violate these Terms may have their Community access cancelled and they may be permanently banned from using the Community.

Like many Community users, you may be seeking information from colleagues that will increase your efficiency, help you solve technical support problems, explore new ways to enjoy your Palm product, seek configuration information and find out about email solutions.

Community Guidelines
What binds diverse people into a community is a set of shared core values. We'd like to help make your experience in the Community a pleasant and productive one. Please observe the following rules for participating in our community.

- Welcome the diverse opinions of your Community associates. We believe that diversity strengthens the Community, and a strong Community of professionals and enthusiasts is the best kind. This Community is a place to ask questions and to receive answers and clarifications. It is a little different than your average forum because we encourage a question and answer format. We are building knowledge to benefit the Palm community.

- We encourage discussions, clarifications and even arguments, but please share your thoughts politely and constructively. Content that is abusive, vulgar, racist, slanderous, harassing, misleading, or otherwise objectionable will not be tolerated and may be removed at any time. Any form of direct or indirect personal attack or harassment, and any comment that calls for unlawful or illegal behavior or might result in harm to others are prohibited.

- This Community offers an opportunity for communication and information sharing among a variety of participants. Members shall be solely responsible for ensuring that they do not act in any manner that constitutes, or forms a part of a course of conduct amounting to, a violation of any state, federal or other applicable competition law.

- Take responsibility for what you say. You are responsible for the content of any messages you post in our Community. All Community members? email addresses may be authenticated as part of registration and made available to the Palm moderators.

- Stay on-topic. The moderators may remove any comments that stray from the subject at hand, including unsolicited ads and promotions. Appointed experts in the Community who have a business related to their participation will be allowed to add information about their professional affiliations in their profile. For example, some Experts may be software developers or be affiliated to the wireless industry.

- You may not post or transmit any message, data image or program that would violate the property rights of others, including unauthorized copyrighted text, images or programs, trade secrets or other confidential proprietary information, and trademarks or service marks used in an infringing fashion.

- Palm reserves the right to reprint, modify, distribute, or delete your posting. We do not preview or edit postings before they appear on our site, but we do reserve the right to remove them if they violate these Terms.

- Community site areas are not to be used for commercial purposes unless sanctioned by the group administrator of the community. This includes solicitation of any third party software.

Important:   Palm, Inc. ("Palm") monitors this Community and may provide comments or responses to certain issues from time to time, but Palm does not provide a response to every issue, and this Community is not intended to be a comprehensive support forum.   Customers looking for detailed support options should visit http://www.palm.com/support.  If Palm responds to an issue, it is Palm?s intent that the information provided is as accurate and reliable as possible, but the real-time nature of responses posted on this Community means that not all information will be readily verifiable. Users of the Community should always refer to reference materials located at http://www.palm.com/support for the most detailed, comprehensive and up-to-date support options. 6. intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, including but not limited to any regulations having the force of law while using or accessing the Community or in connection with your use of the Community in any manner;

7. invade the privacy or violate any personal or proprietary right of any person or entity; and

8. infringe the intellectual property rights or similar rights, including but not limited to copyrights and trademarks, of any person or entity.

Content
You and any user of your User Name must evaluate, and bear the risk associated with, the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any Content. Palm shall have the right, but not the responsibility, to remove Content that Palm deems in its sole discretion to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of these Terms or any other rules Palm has in place at the time. Palm may elect at its sole discretion to monitor some, all, or no areas of the Community for adherence to these Terms.

Trademarks, Copyrights, & Restrictions
All materials on this site, including, but not limited to, images, illustrations, posts, audio clips, video clips (the "Materials") are protected by copyrights that are owned or licensed by Palm. Palm is among the trademarks or registered trademarks owned by or licensed to Palm. You may not reproduce, perform, create derivative works from, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way whatsoever any Materials from www.palm.com or any other web site owned or operated by Palm without the prior written permission of Palm. Any modification of the Materials, or any portion thereof, or use of the Materials for any other purpose constitutes an infringement of Palm's copyrights and other proprietary rights. Use of Materials on any other web site or other networked computer environment is prohibited without prior written permission from Palm.

Copyright Complaints
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide Palm's copyright agent with the written information specified below. These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, as applied to agreements entered into and performed within California.
