To repair my Palm Zire 72 is very expensive (around 200$CAN) and my Palm cost me 300$. After only 18 months, it crashes completely and I need to pay half the price.

I am having a hard time trying to get my Palm GPS Navigator smartphone edition 3 repaired.  The special car adapter charger that charges both the phone & gps receiver is not working anymore.  I changed the fuse on the adapter but it keeps popping.  I use other chargers in the car with no problem.  I need it repaired or replaced.

I bought it from Teconweb in march 2007.. They told me to get it repaired from the manufacturer.  I guess that is Palm.

Palm tech support says to contact Sprint.

Sprint tech support says to contact who I brought it from.  I told them I was getting the run around. 

They told me to contact a local sprint repair shop. The sprint shop says they only repair phones.

How can I get this car adapter repaired/replaced?

The Palm Limited Warranty which applies to Palm-branded hardware accessories is one year:

Click the link at the top of that page where it says "To find out which warranty applies to your device, click here." Click there, and scroll down to Accessories. All Palm-branded hardware accessories are covered by a 1-year warranty.

I believe the Palm® GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition 3 qualifies as a Palm-branded accessory although it uses TomTom Navigator software.

Suggest you contact Customer Care again...(813) 313-4913, Mon-Fri: 6am to 8pm PST, Sat-Sun: 8am to 5pm PST. It's the telephone number for Palm handhelds.

If they give you any trouble about getting it repaired or replaced (hopefully you still have your Proof of Purchase???), or if they try to do the Sprint Shuffle on you again, refer them to the Palm Warranty pages above. If they still don't give you any satisfaction, you can send me a Private Message for some more options.

Hello guys!!!i purchased my palm m100 series yesterday...i want to contact the technical support about my m100 back lights..i cant find it..i don't know where to turn on the lights...thanks

Please help! I have called 5 times, I got disconnected three times, told to call sales support another and sales support told me to call warranty support (that's where I got disconnected).

I have a PTX and the SD reader stopped working, my warranty expired less than 2 weeks ago (ordered 5/15/07) is there anything that I can do?

Does anyone know how to contact palm rather than the service provider? I really like my treo 700, but I am burdened with problems which my service provider did not solve. I can't justify buying another replacement considering how many treos I have had in the past and other competing phones are a fraction of the price. I would like to speak with someone before going the other route though b/c my treo contains a lot of vital info. for work etc., and I am used to having  a treo.
